The StarEndurance features a Vortex Air Seal, which extends turbine life by preventing deposition of foreign debris into turbine bearings and seals the turbine from debris spiraling up the bur shaft, and blocks drive air leakage to prevent lubricants and contaminants from compromising the bond strength of restorations. StarBright Fiber Optics (available on 431 SWL Models only) feature a high quality fiber optic glass designed to withstand the rigors of steam and chemical vapor sterilization.

The 360º Quick-Connect Swivel (not available on 431K Model) reduces tubing drag for greater operator comfort, and allows a quick-change of a multitude of StarDental handpieces at chairside without engaging and recoupling each handpiece after sterilization. This swivel rates as one of the best swivels on the market. The Small Head – High Torque design of these handpieces improves accessibility and visibility. High power enables fast and precise removal of tooth surface and amalgam to improve speed and quality of work.
