Sectional Matrix Retainer System

The Composi-Tight retainer system features sectional matrix bands that are contoured in three dimensions to provide an accurate contact for posterior composites at the tooth's natural height of contour. Available bands include a pedodontic band for primary molars; a small band for bicuspids and small molars; a standard band for the majority of molar restorations; and a large band for deep cervical restorations. The band thickness is .0012 in. (30 µm).

The system also features G-Rings that provide the required amount of tooth separation and hold the matrix bands securely in place while the restoration is performed. Made of polished stainless-steel, the rings can be autoclaved for repeated use. Standard length rings are used for class 2 restorations, and extended length rings allow overlay of rings for M.O.D. or multiple tooth restorations.
