Reston Endodontics Completes Office Renovations, Launches New Website, Offers State-Of-The-Art Imaging Technology

New technology available in the practice includes Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT), which represents one of the most significant endodontic advancements in recent history. "CBCT provides three-dimensional imaging very similar to the imaging resulting from a CT scan you’d have in a hospital," Dr. Detar said. "The incredible 360° images that CBCT captures are invaluable diagnostic and treatment planning tools for root canals, dental implants, and endodontic surgery. At Reston Endodontics, Dr. Detar works alongside Board-Eligible endodontist Preeti Batra. Both endodontists attended Virginia Commonwealth University, and both practiced for several years as general dentists before pursuing additional education and training in the endodontic specialty.
