The Esthetic Polishing System is designed to provide the final touch in polishing a wide variety of composite materials. The coarse and medium grit discs are coated with silicone carbide to smooth and contour composite. The fine and extra fine discs are coated with micrograined aluminum oxide to produce a smooth, brilliant finish. The discs are available in 5/16" and 1/2" diameter and are very thin to provide greater flexibility and better interproximal access. In addition, the mounting receptacle on the polishers is rubber as opposed to plastic or metal. This eliminates the probability of scratching or gouging the composite while polishing.
