North Las Vegas, NV (PRWEB) - Drs. Allen Huang and Jeffrey Wang with Significance Dental Specialists are now pleased to accept new patients who are suffering with receding gums in North Las Vegas, NV, who wish to undergo the Chao Pinhole® Surgical Technique. The doctors understand that the condition can lead to sensitive teeth and an increased chance of gum disease and tooth loss, and hope to help as many patients as possible to restore their smiles.

Gum recession often occurs silently and without warning. It can be caused by aggressive tooth brushing, periodontal disease, changes in a person’s hormones, and even grinding and clenching of the teeth. Patients usually first notice they suffer from the condition because their affected teeth look longer than normal, or they are experiencing sensitive teeth. This can have an extreme effect on patients’ smiles, their confidence, and their ability to eat the things they enjoy. When this occurs, the doctors often recommend that patients undergo the Chao Pinhole® Surgical Technique, or PST™.

Patients with receding gums in North Las Vegas, NV, who undergo this minimally invasive treatment are usually able to return to their normal routines in just a few hours, and many experience little to no blood loss and swelling during and after the procedure. This is because when Drs. Huang and Wang perform the technique, they use specialized tools to gently move the gums back to their original place protecting the roots of the teeth. This restores both the look and function of the gums, so sensitive teeth are no longer an issue.

Patients who would like to learn more about receiving PST™ for their receding gums in North Las Vegas, NV, are invited to schedule an appointment with Drs. Huang and Wang at one of their four locations across the valley. More information can be found at the Significance Dental Specialists’ website at http://www.sdsdental.com.
