The 430 series of lube-free, high-speed handpieces feature an autochuck turbine that improves efficiency and requires no lubrication. Additionally, the device offers a vortex air seal, which allows for extended life by preventing deposition of debris into turbine bearings. The product's fiber optics offer superior light output, and the quick connect swivel reduces tubing drag, for greater comfort.
The handpieces also feature a small head/high torque design to improve accessibility and visibility, and they may be autoclaved at 121° or 135°. Scalloped handle designs eliminate grooves where debris and bacteria are most often harbored, reducing pre-sterilization scrubbing and cleaning preparation time.
