Loadstar Sensors Unveils iBite™ - Digital Bite Force Sensor

Fremont, CA (PRWEB) - Loadstar Sensors, a manufacturer of digital sensing solutions, has unveiled the first ever digital bite force sensing solution that makes it easy to measure bite strength of patients before and after Orthognathic surgeries and dental procedures.

The iBite kit includes a force sensor with a comfortable biting surface, a USB or Wireless (XBee, WiFi or BLE) digital interface and LoadVUE Pro software. The software works on any Windows PC or Tablet and lets a user capture, display, log and plot the force vs. time data. The sensor comes pre-calibrated with a NIST traceable calibration certificate included with each shipment. “This solution offers the first practical solution to get consistent, repeatable and accurate measurement of bite forces,” said Div Harish, Founder and CEO of Loadstar Sensors.

“The small thin sensor can be easily held in one’s hand and inserted into the mouths of even kids to measure bite forces on front as well as back teeth,” Div also said.
