Electrolytically plates long-lasting 20K gold veneer onto all precious, semi-precious and non-precious metals (including chrome cobalt and stainless steel) quickly and easily. Plates at the rate of 5 to 7 micro-inches per minute.

The Gold Plater selectively plates metal, it will not plate (or discolor or distort) acrylic or porcelain. Partial dentures, gingival collars, crowns, facings, clasps, coping, dummy pontics, saddles, backings, bucal arms, retention posts, and Maryland bridges are some of the many appliances that can be enhanced with a 20K gold finish.

Excellent for isolating non-precious alloy in the oral environment and enhancing restorations, including recreation of gold inlays on crowns and bridges.

In addition to improving the esthetics of all non-precious allow surfaces, in provides numerous potient-related and funtional benefits. Sealing the metal with a gold veneer eliminates tissue sensitivity problems, galvanic reactions, nickel leaching, and gingival color discoloration (greening).

Provides excellent opportunity for increased profits as material cost to plate appliance with a heavy wear coat is less than $0.45 per square inch.

The following special features have been incorporated to save you time and gold:

  • Unique timer shuts off when desired plating time is reached. (Timer pilot light indicates when unit is on/active.)
  • Specially designed plating bar allows for automatic multi-unit or "gang" plating; up to 4 crowns or other items may be plated simultaneously.
  • Single gold plating solution can be used for either dip or brush plating.
