The Altair SA is a fiber optic headlight that features total spot size adjustment. The product weighs less than 1 oz in the clip-on design, or 5 oz in the headband model. When used with a 200-watt illuminator, the product directs 3,200-ft candles of light wherever the user looks, and the lighted field is clear and consistent from edge to edge.
As a clip-on, the light features a universal clip, allowing the system to work in conjunction with eyeglass-style magnification loupes, eyeglasses, and protective eyewear. Product-specific clips also allow the device to be integrated with other magnification loupes available.
