Lang Dental, the manufacturer of world leading Jet brand acrylics, has recently introduced DesenZal for the treatment and prevention of dentin hypersensitivity. DesenZal is an easy to use, colorless, odorless and non-irritating solution of HEMA, benzalkonium chloride, and sodium fluoride. It does not contain glutaraldehyde.
DesenZal seals dentin tubules to eliminate pain associated with scaling, root planing, tooth decay, cervical recession, and periodontal disease. The recommended 30-second application may be made with a brush or cotton pellet.
Lang Dental's desensitizer is compatible with all restorative procedures and does not cause discoloration of teeth or materials. DesenZal is also coded under number 09910 for insurance claim purposes.
