Dentrix 7.5

Patient Archiver

With version 7.5, you can now archive patients, which is like deleting a patient from your database. When patients are archived, their appointments and Office Journal entries are deleted, and their Continuing Care, Employer, Insurance, and Referrals are detached and added to their Patient Notes. All other information is left intact should you wish to re-activate the patient in the future. This highly requested feature will save you time when searching for patients as well as organize your database better.

Pop-up Patient Alerts

A new feature has been added in DENTRIX 7.5 that allows you to create pop-up alert notes for patients based on customized criteria. A patient can have up to five different alerts such as pre-medicate, risk account, missed appointment, unpaid account, or any alert you desire. These alerts will pop up in multiple locations of DENTRIX. Options are included to display a symbol for the Alert on appointments and display the family's aged balance with the alert note.

Tax Discount Button

Version 7.5 adds a Tax/Discount button, which enables you to automatically calculate and post a customized tax/discount which can be applied to an individual patient or a family's account. The amount of the Tax/Discount is a percentage of "Today's Charges" or the charges posted on a specified procedure date. This feature is a huge discovery in saving time for those practices in states with specialized taxes.

Practice Analysis

When opening the Practice Analysis window, DENTRIX will now inform you if you are not current in closing out your months. This feature improves the accuracy of your monthly totals thus improving your overall efficiency and productivity.

Appointment Book

It is now possible to set up twelve Appointment Book Views, rather than ten. This added flexibility makes it easier to schedule appointments. Also, the scheduled production amount may be protected and updated automatically if necessary when an appointment provider is edited, or a fee schedule is changed, allowing for more accuracy in predicting actual production.
