The Dentassist delivery unit uses drive air and is capable of having the following built-in options, all operated with one foot control: multiple handpieces, electro-surge, ultrasonic scaler, curing wand and fiber-optics. Design features include:
- Smooth aseptic design – one-piece molded covers; easy to clean and disinfect
- Absolutely zero suck-back – handpiece, precision valve and control system prevent water suck-back
- Automatic handpiece selection - Unique first-out, first-on control system provides safety and allows for efficient handpiece transfer and bur change
- Tension-free tubing – zero tubing tension pullback; eliminates wrist and arm strain
- Tangle-free operation – molded tracks and smooth, aseptic tubing eliminate tangling
- Tubing stop button – patented adjustment for correct tubing length; tubing does not touch patient
- Gravity retraction system – patented, maintenance free retraction
- Unit positioning – touch of the finger vertical and horizontal adjustments for ideal positioning
- Ease of maintenance – most dentists perform their own service; national service available
