Bite-Opening Wire
The superior bending capabilities of Bow-Flex makes it an excellent wire for forming loops that are used to correct crowded malocclusions and bite-opening bends for overbite correction. It's these superior bending qualities that allow Bow-Flex to be used for making sharp bends with reduced incidences of breakage.
Bow-Flex Wire is resistant to deformation, and because of its smooth surface, there is reduced friction. This results in faster patient treatment time and increased patient satisfaction.
Bow-Flex is lighter in color providing an improved aesthetic appeal for patients. Most other high tensile wires appear dark and inconsistent due to surface oxidation.
Bow-Flex Wire is available in five commonly used sizes: .012, .014, .016, .018 and .020". The smaller .012" size can be used for forming auxiliaries while requiring no special pliers.
Members of TP's International Advisory Board evaluated Bow-Flex and rated it to be better than all other high tensile wires.
