Argon Curing Laser

The CureStar Argon Curing Laser allows users to achieve improved composite curing through the power of the argon laser and sophisticated microprocessor control. The system is said to reduce typical curing times to an average 10 seconds. Its self-calibration system allows users to maximize the manufacturer's specified depths of cure.

The curing laser's power level selection system allows users to maximize composite strength by applying the optimum power level to each different material used. Argon laser curing has also been shown to dramatically reduce postoperative patient sensitivity.

The large 12mm output diameter of the standard system handpiece allows for the curing of large areas in a single exposure. The convenient .4mm tip of the optional "Access" Handpiece allows users to deliver argon laser power in locations previously thought impossible. The system is also available as a portable counter top model or a Director+ (air abrasion cavity preparation system) mounted model for a state-of-the-art preparation and curing system combination.
