Analytic Endodontics is an evolution and integration of several of the best endodontic specialty companies in the world. Each of the former companies was known for their unique product lines. Each had as its philosophy to produce innovative products of superior quality that enabled clinicians to more predictably effect clinical success.

Excellence in Endodontics (eie), a company founded by Dr. Gary Carr, was known for its superior microsurgical solutions. From scalpels to sutures, mirrors to condensors, Dr. Carr developed microsurgical instrumentation that solved problems encountered in practice. His ultrasonic tip designs, most patented, have been the basis for all other designs that have followed.

Analytic Technology, a company founded by Dr. Johan Masreliez, was known for its exceptional diagnostic and obturation equipment. Dr. Masreliez, working with key clinicians, such as Dr. Stephen Buchanan and Dr. Herbert Schilder, developed new solutions to problems that challenged existing paradigms. Dr. Masreliez, in developing the Touch ‘N' Heat, is well known for removing the open flame from the office and greatly increasing the safety and success of warm gutta percha obturation techniques.

Tycom Dental was formed by combining Tycom's engineering expertise in precision micro-drill manufacturing with the creative design concepts of Dr. John McSpadden. Their focus on file research and development resulted in the Quantec nickel titanium endodontic file design. The graduating tapers that are employed in this design reduce the stress placed on the file and greatly decrease the opportunity for breakage.

Together, Excellence in Endodontics, Analytic Technology, and Tycom Dental formed Analytic Endodontics. Analytic is committed to delivering quality products that result in predictable and effective endodontics.
