The Model 2000 amalgam separator is a centralized system that is ISO 11143 certified to be 98.8% efficient. The process accommodates solo and multiple practitioner practices, and systems can be added in parallel to accommodate large institutions. Secondary benefits include reduced wear on dental office vacuum pumps, and reduced pollution liabilities. The amalgam particles are collected in a container, which when full is sent back for storage and recycling.
