Air Techniques, Inc. was founded in 1962 by our Chairman, Louis E. Brooks. His goal was to develop equipment to improve the practice of dentistry such as reducing or eliminating the corrosive and costly effects of wet air on equipment in the dental operatory. Our company has more than fulfilled Mr. Brooks' objective through the development of the following inventions and supporting accessories:

In 1979, Air Techniques' manufacturing facility and executive office was established in Hicksville, New York. In 1990, the Western Facility of Air Techniques in Costa Mesa, California, was opened to provide improved sales, support and service in the pacific time zone.

We are challenged to incorporate new technology into every aspect of our business to satisfy the needs and the fast-paced developments in the dental market. Air Techniques' products are manufactured in a vertically integrated factory where compliance with the Federal Drug Administration Good Manufacturing Practices is paired with stringent Quality Standards. Our own engineering staff designs our products for the dental market. Our team's dedication and collaboration have granted us multiple design awards and patents. We are proud to maintain the ISO-9001 Registration certification which reinforces our pledge to quality and customer satisfaction.

Air Techniques has recently opened the John L. "Jack" Alpert Education Center at its New York headquarters. Named after the first Sales Manager at Air Techniques, it is used for dealer as well as internal sales and service training. Air Techniques has also enlarged its manufacturing and fabrication facilities by 68,000 square feet and now exceeds 150,000 square feet.
