Air Abrasion Resistant Intraoral Mirror
The majority of air abrasion operative dentistry procedures "eat up" an average of two to three mirrors per procedure, particularly when indirect vision is used. An interesting side effect of using too many mirrors is that the dentist, in an effort to conserve mirrors, will have a tendency to migrate towards direct vision. This leads to obvious long-term deleterious effects on one's back. With air abrasion mirror utilization, this scenario is a thing of the past. One can use the mirror throughout the procedure and not once have to put your back at risk.
The mirrors come gold plated for ease of identification by your staff and fit the standard #5 cone socket handle. They are also certified for steam autoclaving. Dentists have used the mirrors in over 500 procedures / autoclave cycles, and the mirrors are still intact.
