BioMat Sciences is in the business of developing, manufacturing and marketing a product line of innovative materials and related technologies for the biomedical community. In addition to research and development, it has a commercialization arm to manage production and logistical support though outsourcing, while internally managing marketing and sales.

BioMat Sciences' initial core technologies address the needs of the oral health arena. Once established in the market place, its development and commercialization activities will be expanded to meet targeted needs of the broader biomedical community. Its current technologies are in the domain of mineralized tissue adhesives, advanced composites, and processing systems for producing high-strength biomedical polymers. One of the technologies has completed development and received FDA approval for dental use, while the other two are at relatively mature stages of development. All technologies have patents pending.
