MISSION: Asepto Systems' goal is to provide the dentist and laboratory technician with a reliable, efficacious and relatively inexpensive means for controlling cross contamination in the workplace originating from impressions.

It is an established and accepted fact that one of the primary sources of transmission of potentially infectious diseases from dental patients, to dental office personnel and on to the dental laboratory is via a contaminated impression.

The dental impression, because of the very materials developed to replicate the fine and precise detail necessary for satisfactory fit and functionality of finished restorations and prostheses, cannot withstand the chemical reactions and handling, i.e. wiping and scrubbing with disinfectants designed for hard environmental surfaces. Use of these types of disinfectants will always pose the risk of damage to the impression, resulting in loss of time and productivity for the dentist and the laboratory.

Asepto-Sol is designed to provide a practical, effective and safe technique for disinfecting impressions as well as gypsum casts. It enables the dentist to disinfect the impression in a single work step at chairside, by spraying or soaking the impression in the solution for 10 minutes. As an extra precaution and to achieve a higher level of disinfection, the solution can be mixed with the gypsum itself, without any risk of dimensional change or weakening of the stone cast. this second step enables the stone cast to virtually disinfect itself automatically .
