QuickSplint Receives Dental Industry Recognition

QuickSplint, the interim dental split, has received recognition from Dentistry Today magazine and THE DENTAL ADVISOR.

San Diego, CA (PRWEB) - Orofacial Therapeutics, LP announced today that its premier product, QuickSplint®, has received two recent industry recognitions. QuickSplint was recognized as a Reader’s Choice Top 25 First Impression Product by Dentistry Today magazine, and it was named a 2016 Clinical Problem Solver by The Dental Advisor, which reports objective clinical evaluations, product comparisons, clinical performance studies, and laboratory test results for the dental industry.

QuickSplint is an interim dental splint that can be fabricated quickly and easily in the dental practice. It is the only dental splint designed specifically for short-term use of up to 4 – 6 weeks. Uses for QuickSplint include:

  • First aid for acute symptoms
  • Protective and stabilizing splint
  • Diagnostic aid

QuickSplint was selected as a Reader’s Choice Top 25 First Impression Product and was featured in the June 2016 issue of Dentistry Today magazine, the nation’s leading clinical news magazine. First Impression products are generally new products that are being introduced to the dental industry for the first time. QuickSplint was selected based on reader interest among all First Impression products featured over the past year.

QuickSplint was selected as a 2016 Clinical Problem Solver by The Dental Advisor, and it was featured in the July-August 2016 Vol. 33, No. 06 of THE DENTAL ADVISOR. THE DENTAL ADVISOR has been providing relevant information to the dental profession for more than 33 years.

“When we created QuickSplint, it was our vision to help dentists and specialists address the need for diagnosing parafunctional bruxism and also to provide an immediate aid for temporary care and protection of teeth and jaw. We found that QuickSplint has many practical applications across dentistry and it is rewarding to see dentists embracing it in growing numbers,” said Ann McCulloch, president of Orofacial Therapeutics.
