Imagin typically knowledges the weaknesses in the brands of dental cameras and repairs them, and if needed parts are not available, Imagin will then reverse engineer that part and theoretically make a replacement part that is even better then the original! For example, Kodak's 1500 and 1600 dental camera handpieces have a very weak plastic body. Its mid-section Coupler, which fails frequently, is a typical repair for that camera. Since these parts are not available, Imagin replaces this Coupler part with a new piece machined from a pure billet aluminum material, giving the repair added strength to the handpiece and making the overall exercise a big improvement compared to the original. This high strength billet material is the same billet material Imagin uses on all ImageMaster USB-HD billet series cameras, which are considered one of the most durable intraoral dental cameras on the market today!
