Dentrix 6.8 is a Windows-based practice management tool that combines the clinical and accounting functions for an integrated office solution.

Features include productivity scheduling, continuing care (recall), referral tracking, clinical charting, patient ledger, periodontal charting, electronic claims, intraoral imaging, filmless x-ray, voice activation and blood pressure monitoring.

The new release adds these features:

Treatment Manager, which identifies patients with unscheduled treatment plans

Collections Manager, to handle late- and non-paying patients

e-mail (to a patient in the Dentrix module via Internet)

prescription reports

other prescription formats for Arizona, New Jersey, New York and Texas

Enter Supernumary Teeth function

right-hand time bar for appointment scheduling

Patient Ledger report

enhanced walkout statement

System requirements include Pentium 166 or faster, Windows 95/98 or NT 4.0, 16 MB RAM for workstations and 32 MB RAM for servers, 150 MB free disk space for workstations, 400 MB free disk space for servers and 4X or faster CD-ROM drive.
